Anthony Soufflé is a staff photojournalist at the Star Tribune in Minneapolis. He is a native of Collinsville, Ill., and a graduate of the photojournalism program at Southern Illinois University.
Prior to moving to Minnesota Soufflé was a staff photographer at the Chicago Tribune. There, in 2015 he and reporters David Jackson, Gary Marx and Duaa Eldeib were honored with the Anthony Shadid award for journalism ethics by the UW-Madison for the five-part multimedia series Harsh Treatment.
While attending SIU Soufflé interned at the Muskegon Chronicle (Mich.), the Naples Daily News (Fla.), The Gazette (Colorado Springs, Colo.), the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and the Star Tribune.
